The town of Usedom, represented by the Usedom-Süd, has just released a tender for the harbor dredging/wreck removal works.

The works will include the creation of moorings in the harbor area and in order to create the required minimum water depths, extensive dredging works are to be carried out as well.

The dredged materials are to be disposed of at a designated landfill site.

The works include maintenance dredging of the fairway; maintenance dredging of the port; ground rearrangement in the port; salvage and disposal of 2 shipwrecks; Re-naturalization of river banks, jetties and pile structures.

The deadline for sending bids is August 17th 2016.
