Consultancy firm NIRAS has completed the acquisition of marine ecology consultancy, CMACS.

NIRAS now employs a dedicated UK team of 35 professional marine consultants based in Cambridge, Dorking, Glasgow, the Isle of Man and Liverpool.

Dr Ian Gloyne-Phillips will manage the NIRAS coastal and marine ecology team which is based in Liverpool. Dr Terry Holt becomes technical director, based in the Isle of Man.

Dr Tim Norman , managing director of NIRAS Consulting, said: “I am delighted that we have joined forces with CMACS, who have a wealth of experience and expertise in marine and coastal ecology. Our combined teams now offer a full range of marine, intertidal and coastal survey and assessment services.”
