Hindawi Publishing’s Mathematical Problems in Engineering journal is inviting researchers and scientists to contribute original research articles with a focus on the latest mathematical knowledge for offshore renewable energy (ORE) engineering to progress the sector.

Mathematical Problems in Engineering is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes results of rigorous engineering research carried out using mathematical tools.

The journal is looking for articles describing the new methodologies, analytical and numerical tools, and theoretical methods dealing with engineering problems in the field of ORE structures for wave, wind, current, and hybrid marine platforms.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to, innovative ORE systems, statistical methods and environmental resource assessment, wind, wave, and current interactions, mathematical methods for structural and fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics, and so on.

Authors can submit their manuscripts by December 16, 2016.

First round of reviews is expected to take place on March 10, 2017, with the publication date set for May 5, 2017.
