Parker Bestobell Marine, a part of Parker, recently received an order from South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) to supply cryogenic valves for three Teekay LNG carriers.
The three LNG carriers are a part of a series of eight LNG tankers built by DSME for Teekay, for which Parker Bestobell Marine has also been contracted to provide globe and check valves, the company said in a statement.
Duncan Gaskin , Parker Bestobell Marine’s Market Development Manager added the company reinforced its partnership with DSME with the recent order that will have the company deliver cryogenic valves for all eight vessels in this series.
Recently, Parker Bestobell Marine also received a second order with DSME in South Korea to supply globe and check valves for the Yamal series of vessels, which will total fifteen ships when completed.
