The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has granted ExxonMobil consent to start-up a subsea facility for production well 25/11-E-29 AH on the Balder field.
Recently ExxonMobil received an approval from Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) to use E-29-AH subsea well, on the Balder field.
The Balder field is located in block 25/11 in the North Sea, around 190 kilometers west of Stavanger.
The field belongs to production licence PL 001, where ExxonMobil is the operator and sole licensee.
It was developed with subsea wells that are connected to a production and storage vessel, Balder FPSO, NPD explained.
The oil is transported by tanker.
