After last week’s rise, the U.S. weekly offshore rig count has fallen again, Baker Hughes informed in its rig count report on Friday.

BHI Rig Count: U.S. +15 to 462 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is up 15 rigs from last week to 462, with oil rigs up 14 to 371, gas rigs down 1 to 88, and miscellaneous rigs up 2 to 3.

U.S. Rig Count is down 414 rigs from last year’s count of 876, with oil rigs down 288, gas rigs down 128, and miscellaneous rigs up 2. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is 19, down 3 from last week, and down 12 rigs year over year.

BHI Rig Count: Canada +7 to 102 rigs

Canadian Rig Count is up 7 rigs from last week to 102, with oil rigs up 4 to 48, gas rigs up 3 to 53, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 1.

Canadian Rig Count is down 98 rigs from last year’s count of 200, with oil rigs down 50, gas rigs down 49, and miscellaneous rigs up 1.
