VideoRay has delivered VideoRay Pro 4 remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to the Italian Coast Guard, along with sonars and accessories.
The ROV manufacturer said the equipment is worth more than 200,000 euros.
ROVs will be used for several tasks including underwater police tasks, search and recovery, archeological monitoring, environmental surveys, and other.
The main focus will be on search and recovery operations, potentially dangerous tasks for which the Italian Coast Guard is frequently called upon, the company added.
