China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) has completed its first 3D seismic acquisition in the Far East.
COSL conducted the operation in a complex fishery and foggy weather environment, managing to conclude the shoot safely thanks to the protection measures for the equipment implemented ahead of operation, the company informed.
COSL secured the contract for the seismic acquisition in June, and deployed its 78 meters long, 6-streamer vessel HAI YANG SHI YOU 718 (HYSY 718) to carry out the survey.
The company did not disclose the client nor the commercial terms between the parties.
