Marine Power Systems (MPS) is recruiting for an Engineer who would support the development of its wave energy device WaveSub.

The position would be predominantly focused on computational modelling, and design and optimization of the WaveSub tank scaled prototypes.

Also, the scope of work will include overseeing the manufacturing of prototypes, tank testing programmes, as well as analysis and reporting of the results.

The deadline to apply for the position has been set for October 31, 2016.

To remind, MPS recently completed the testing of the scaled prototype at the Plymouth University’s COAST facility which validated MPS’ computational simulations.

The quarter-scale WaveSub is expected to be deployed later this year at FaBTest in Falmouth Bay.
