Aberdeenshire-based Paradigm Flow Services said it has just landed its largest ever contract in Malaysia.

The deal will see the company’s React Locate Remediate (RLR) umbilical unblocking technology deployed in a deepwater setting for an undisclosed international operating company.

This recent win was, reportedly, inspired by the success of the company’s Pipe-Pulse technology which provides a non-intrusive method of unblocking subsea flowlines.

The company believes its growth in the Malaysian market follows the successful completion of work using similar technology in the UKCS and Gulf of Mexico.

“We are delighted to announce this significant contract which further underlines our presence in this important location. Current operating conditions mean there are good levels of demand for ground-breaking, cost-effective technology such as ours and we look forward to capitalising on opportunities as we seek to broaden our corporate horizons,” said Donald Ballantyne , Paradigm Flow Services’ commercial director.
