Norwegian LNG shipping company, Awilco LNG said it has completed the previously announced sale of its two laid-up carriers to an undisclosed buyer.
The 1983 built WilEnergy and the 1984 built WilGas have been delivered to the new owner, Awilco LNG said on Thursday.
The sale of the two 125,000 cbm vessels will contribute with an estimated loss of US$6.6 million in Awilco LNG’s 2016 financial results, the company noted in its statement.
Awilco LNG now owns two 2013 built 156,000 cbm TFDE carriers, namely WilForce and WilPride.
