DBL Group, a Dhaka based diversified business conglomerate, has just launched its dredging business concern named ‘DBL Dredging Limited’.

“It is going to be a full service company for valuable contribution towards the dredging and excavating needs of Bangladesh,” the company stated in the announcement.

“The management is committed to continuous improvement and strives to meet the expectations of the clients in every project undertaken.”

To enter this new market, the company has purchased two standardized IHC Beaver® 50 cutter suction dredgers and two Delta Multi Craft 1050 work boats, to perform all supporting operations.

The purchase agreement signing ceremony took place on 21 May 2016, at DBL Corporate Office in Dhaka.

M.A. Jabbar, DBL’s Managing Director, Anwarul Azim, DBL’s Technical Director, Md. Matiar Rahman, DBL’s Chief Operating Officer, IHC’s Area Director, Kees Derks, and Sharif Chowdhury, local country representative, were present at the signing ceremony.
