Deputy Head of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport Zhikhareva Nadezhda, Executive Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” Andrey Lavrischev and representatives of the enterprise management visited last week the seaport of Sabetta to tour the construction site.

During the tour, specialists examined the ongoing construction works of berth intended for delivery of cargo and large production modules within the field development and LNG plant construction.

They were also briefed about the southeast ice protection construction project, control and correction station site, navigation aids (NA) storage, etc.

Following a series of working meetings, the enterprise representatives visited Zheng He dredger, from where they examined the northwest ice protection construction.

The dredging works for the access channel and turning basin of Sabetta port on the Yamal peninsula will be completed in 2017.

Total amount of dredged material to be removed from the port area by 2017 will reach 70 mln cbm.
