Bosch Rexroth has joined the DeepSea Mining Alliance with the signing of the declaration of accession during SMM in Hamburg.
The DeepSea Mining Alliance founded in Hamburg in 2014 offers a platform for partners from industry and research in order to further promote the environmentally friendly deep sea mining in the future, the company explained.
The activities range from cooperation with research institutes to the support of different projects worldwide and are to cover the entire value added chain of deep sea mining.
Bosch Rexroth will strengthen the Alliance with their experience in the area environmentally friendly technology for reliable and safe underwater systems, the company said.
