Keppel FELS, a unit of Keppel Offshore & Marine, delivered the Floatel Triumph, the accommodation semisubmersible to Floatel International.
The semi will be chartered to Chevron and deployed at the Wheatstone field off Western Australia, Keppel said in its statement on Thursday, adding that the scheduled time of arrival on the location is mid-October.
Once its deployment at the Wheatstone field is complete, the semi will start work for Inpex in the Ichthys field.
This is the fifth floatel, Keppel FELS delivered to Floatel International. Floatel Superior, Floatel Reliance, Floatel Victory and Floatel Endurance have been previously delivered.
