Norwegian multi-client seismic data specialist Spectrum has entered into an agreement with the administrator of the Dolphin estate to acquire the 2D survey in Brazil Santos Campos and the 3D survey in Lebanon.
Financial details surrounding the deal have not been disclosed.
Spectrum’s purchase follows last month’s joint acquisition of the majority of Dolphin UK’s multi-client library by TGS and Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS).
To remind, in December last year, Dolphin filed for bankruptcy after failing to secure financial support to keep the business afloat.
The UK processing and multi-client operations of Dolphin Geophysical Ltd continued to operate as normal.
