Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard together with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Rosmorport” today held a launching ceremony for the third 1000m³ trailing suction hopper dredger Kadosh, reports IAA PortNews.

The ship was named after the cape in the Black Sea, near Tuapse.

The Kadosh is the last ship in a series of three TSHDs built for the FSUE Rosmorport under the contract signed between the two companies in April 2014.

First two ships of the TSHD 1000 design, named Sommers and Kronshlot, were delivered to the customer earlier this year.

The TSHD 1000 was designed by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem (Netherlands) with the working design documentation provided by Volga-Caspian Design Bureau (MNP Group, Russia).
