Black & Veatch UK’s Water Division is looking to expand its marine energy team with the addition of a new Mechanical Engineer.
The successful candidate will join Black & Veatch’s marine renewable energy team, to be located in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Ireland offices.
The principal duties and responsibilities for the position include working on several marine energy consulting projects concurrently, as well as co-ordinating and/or undertaking programmes of technical work for wave energy clients such as concept engineering, design and experimental activities.
The candidate should have a strong experience working on marine and/or other renewable energy projects, Black & Veatch said.
Previous experience of consulting or technology development experience for marine renewable energy projects for major UK clients is desirable, the company added.
