EMEC hires new Systems Developer

The European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) has added Steven Pyke as a new Systems Developer to its team.

The European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) has added Steven Pyke as a new Systems Developer to its team.

In his new role, Pyke will support the development of EMEC’s ocean energy assessment processes which will form part of an integrated evaluation and development pathway for wave and tidal energy companies, EMEC informed.

Steven Pyke said: “EMEC is leading in their class in the industry, making it a great place to work. The association of being employed by Strathclyde University and being based at EMEC provides a strong resource for knowledge and learning that will hopefully support in advancing my career.”

Pyke was hired as part of a knowledge transfer partnership between the University of Strathclyde and EMEC, supported by Innovate UK.
