Hamina LNG Oy, a joint venture between Finland’s Haminan Energia and Estonia’s Alexela , has issued an international tender for the construction of an LNG import terminal in the Port of Hamina, Finland.
Hamina LNG intends to build a small-scale import terminal able to receive LNG tankers with a size up to 25,000-cbm.
The facility will have regasification possibilities for low and high-pressure grid, truck loading facilities and re-loading bunkering facilities.
The engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) works are worth about 65 million euros and are expected to start on November 1 and last until the end of 2019, according to the tender documents.
Companies are invited to submit their bids until October 14.
