Aberdeenshire-based Paradigm Flow Services said it will strengthen its operations in Houston by relocating its business development manager, Kevin Keogh, to help with the company’s expansion in North America.

According to Paradigm, this investment in US-based resources should enable the company to better position itself to capitalise on opportunities in the region, including the Gulf of Mexico riser-pipeline cleaning and intervention market.

Paradigm Flow Services managing director, Rob Bain , said: “Kevin’s role has been US-focused for the last few years, and our decision to permanently base a second full time member of staff in Houston is a significant, bold step forward for us in this key marketplace against a difficult economic backdrop.

“Kevin has been with the company for five years and his promotion is a great example of successfully nurturing talent from within the company. We are delighted that he has taken up this new and exciting role within the team and we look forward to his help in building our business from this important oil and gas hub.”

Kevin Keogh added: “ An enhanced in-country presence will provide renewed focus in the region and enable us to further the potential for our service offering, which extends beyond the waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

“On a personal level, I am very much looking to forward to having the opportunity to work more closely with our existing and prospective client base and taking up permanent residence in what has become my second city.”
