American Electric Technologies said its unit M&I Electric has been picked to provide a turnkey power delivery solution for a new LNG plant under construction in New England.

The facility is being built to provide additional supplies to the grid operator during the high-demand periods, the company said in its statement.

M&I Electric has been contracted to provide custom-designed low and medium voltage power distribution switchgear and low and medium voltage motor control centers for the facility.

The equipment will be deployed with i-house built power distribution centers.
