Liebherr has just released a video about dredging application of their new duty cycle crawler crane type HS 8130 HD in the Swiss Alps.
The machine’s work includes removal of material from the Luzzone reservoir in order to ensure the unhindered flow of water to the Olivone Power Station.
“The grab is a mechanical clamshell bucket from Negrini and was especially enhanced for the working depth of 200 meters, ” said Mr. Florian Gabriel, the Product Manager (Liebherr-Werk Nenzing Gmbh).
Thanks to its optimized hydraulic system, the crawler crane offers more material handling capacity than its proven predecessor HS 885 HD.
The HS series is designed for special dynamic tasks.
