Peru’s only liquefaction and export facility at Pampa Melchorita has dispatched another cargo of liquefied natural gas to Spain.

According to the shipping data released by the state-owned Perupetro, the 2006-built 145,000-cbm Methane Lydon Volney LNG carrier departed from the plant on November 17 and set off to Spain.

The vessel becomes the sixth consecutive cargo shipped to Spain from Peru. It was also the ninth cargo out of the last 10, to head to Spain.

This is the second time the GasLog-owned Methane Lydon Volney loaded at Peru’s liquefaction plant.

Perupetro has not confirmed the exact destination of the vessel, however, data provided by the vessel tracking website, MarineTraffic, shows the Methane Lydon Volney is due at the Huelva LNG terminal on December 14.

With the latest cargo, Peru’s 4.45 mtpa LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita dispatched 365 cargoes in total since the start of operations in June 2010.
