Senwatec, a German manufacturer of dredging equipment, successfully commissioned and launched their versatile multipurpose amphibian dredging machine, named the Dredge-King, in Madagascar earlier this month.

The Dredge-King is a compact mobile dredger, equipped for deep water bucket and hydraulic dredging.

This “four legged” dredging machine can lift itself off the truck bed by means of its two swinging bow stabilizers and the tilting spud anchors at the stern.

The Dredge-King is a one-truck transportable dredger, requiring minimal over dimensional permits for highway transport.

The forward mounted heavy duty two part hydraulic crane, is equipped with a boom and dipper at 350 degree swing and secured on a heavy duty slew ring base. With its quick exchange tool plate a great number of working and operating tools can be attached fast and easily and immediately be put to work.

The wide swing radius allows for great flexibility when working in tight quarters. The auger dredger head, dredge pump with cutter head, excavating buckets, and many more attachments equips the Dredge-King for a multitude of tasks.
