Norwegian seabed seismic services player, Magseis, has been awarded a contract from ConocoPhillips for a full azimuth 4D seabed seismic survey in the North Sea.
The company will be using its proprietary ‘marine autonomous seismic system’ (MASS) for the acquisition.
MASS consists of the in-sea cable and sensor capsules, automated handling, and data download.
Magseis said it plans to mobilize a second, ROV-based crew for the project.
The contract will last for approximately three months including the mobilization to the prospect.
The project will start during Q2 2017.
