Thalassa Holdings’ wholly owned subsidiary WGP Group has secured a contract from ConocoPhillips Skandinavia to acquire seismic data on the Eldfisk field in the North Sea in 2017.

The survey is expected to last approximately two months.

According to the company, the survey is planned to start during Q2 2017.

Eldfisk is located in block 2/7, about 16 kilometers south of Ekofisk, and is the second largest of three producing fields in the Greater Ekofisk Area.

The water depth at the site is just under 70 meters.

ConocoPhillips is the operator of the field with an ownership interest of 35.11 percent.

Eldfisk is developed with a total of five platforms. Four of them are connected with bridges (the Eldfisk Complex), while the fifth, Eldfisk 2/7 Bravo, is located about six kilometers northwest of the Eldfisk Complex.
