The scope of work for the post includes providing strategic advice, both internally and externally, on the management of the maritime environment and specifically on marine industries such as renewable energy generation, offshore oil and gas, cabling, and aggregate extraction.

The responsibilities of Marine Industries Advisor also include providing input to the development of NRW’s strategic direction and position in relation to marine energy and other sectors, in collaboration with marine industries colleagues in the Marine Strategic Planning Energy and Advice Team to ensure consistency and integration across marine sectors.

Also, the successful candidate is expected to contribute to NRW’s work in support of Welsh government’s marine transition and energy delivery programs.

The deadline for applications is set for January 10, 2017.

NRW is the Welsh government’s body in charge of sustainable management of its natural resources.
