Dalby Offshore has appointed Nigel Shaw an HSEQ Advisor to the Dalby fleet of Wind Farm Service Vessels (WSV’s).

Shaw is based in Dalby’s Lowestoft Office, working with the company’s Operations Manager, Steve Bartram and rest of the Dalby East Anglia team.

He will be the direct contact for external bodies including all clients and regulatory bodies responsible for administering all HSEQ matters for Dalby’s at all wind farm sites across Europe, ensuring effective planning, organisation, control and monitoring.

Shaw is qualified to NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and is a Graduate member of the Institution of Occupational Safety (GradIOSH).

Stuart McNiven of Dalby said: “Health and safety is a fundamental part of the business and key to our success. As one of the larger operators in the sector we have a growing workforce and their safety is of paramount importance to both myself and the Company. Companies need someone with passion and energy to ensure Safety stays at the core of the organisation and in Nigel I strongly believe we now have that.”
