Höegh LNG’s FSRU Independence, serving as Lithuania’s LNG import terminal in the port of Klaipeda is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas on Friday.
According to the data provided by the Port of Klaipeda, the 140,000-cbm Arctic Voyager is set to unload a cargo on December 30.
The vessel departed Statoil’s Hammerfest LNG export facility on Melkoya island on Sunday, December 25, according to the AIS data provided by the vessel tracking website, MarineTraffic.
Lithuania imports LNG from Norway under a supply deal with Statoil that has been revised in January, extending it from five to 10 years and upping the import volumes from 2.7 to 3.7 billion cubic meters.
The imported volumes are split between Litgas, Lietuvos Duju Tiekimas, and Lithuanian fertilizer producer Achema.
