Solstad Offshore (SOFF) has entered into a contract with Dong Energy Wind Power for hire of the CSV Rem Installer.

The contract is for a period of 23 months firm with further 6 months option and an additional CSV from the SOFF fleet, to be nominated at a later stage, for a period of 7 months firm with further 8 months option.

Rem Installer that will be renamed Normand Jarl will begin its contract in February 2017 ,while the contract for vessel number two should start April 1, 2018. The vessel became part of Solstad’s fleet following integration of REM Offshore .

“This contract with DONG Energy Power is a strategically important contract for SOFF in the company’s continued commitment to the renewable energy segments,” the company said in its Oslo notice on Friday.

The commercial terms are confidential between the parties.
