Subsea Innovation has completed the design, manufacture and testing of two Hydraulic Power Units (HPU) for Saipem America.
The HPUs will be installed on board the Saipem Castorone pipe laying vessel.
Saipem Castorone is designed for installation of large-diameter pipelines in deep and ultra-deep waters as well as extreme environments.
The HPUs were commissioned for operation with two HFM-135 launch and recovery systems that were previously supplied by Subsea Innovation.
