Singapore-based provider of subsea services, Kreuz, has been engaged in new projects offshore India since the last quarter of 2016 following completion of construction and installation projects in Malaysia.

Kreuz Supporter kicked off the season in Mumbai High South working for an undisclosed EPC player installing I-tubes, stalk on and flanged risers, spools and riser guards.

In addition, the diving support vessel Kreuz Installer was mobilized for the same project to install grout supports towards pipeline crossing corrections.

Kreuz mobilised more than 2000 tons of cement including grout spread on the Installer’s deck. The objective was to make the vessel self-sufficient and perform pipeline crossing correction work uninterrupted for 90 to 100 days.

The India season is likely to continue into second quarter of 2017 with the vessels clearing out prior to the South West monsoons, the company noted.
