Arctic Princess LNG carrier, owned by the Norway-based FSRU giant Höegh LNG, on January 22 delivered a cargo of liquefied natural gas to the recently inaugurated FSRU Neptune in Turkey.
The FSRU Neptune, formerly known as GDF Suez Neptune, arrived at Etki LNG terminal berth on December 11 fully loaded with LNG and proceeded immediately with commissioning operations, the statement reads.
The Etki LNG terminal located close to Çakmakli, Izmir, Turkey’s first FSRU-based import terminal was inaugurated later in December by France’s Engie, and the Turkish construction companies Kolin and Kalyon.
The FSRU Neptune is owned by Höegh LNG Partners (50 percent), MOL (48.5 percent) and Tokyo LNG Tanker (1.5 percent), and is under a long-term charter with Engie.
The 147,980-cbm Arctic Princess, owned by Höegh LNG, is on a long-term charter with Statoil.
