Norwegian manufacturer of subsea equipment, Agility Subsea Fabrication (ASF), has won a contract with TechnipFMC to build an integrated subsea manifold system for the Visund North field in the Norwegian Sea.

The work will be carried out at Agility Subsea Fabrication`s site in Tønsberg. The yard in Tønsberg is Agility Subsea Fabrication’s largest production site.

The company has temporarily moved its production to this site after it was forced to put the facility in Skien , Norway on stand by due to lower activity.

“Scope of work is a copy version of an earlier delivered fast track project,” the company noted.

Integrated template structure is expected for delivery during the second semester of 2017 and the manifold system during the first semester of 2018.

Fabrication should begin during the first semester of this year.
