Fujian Zhongmin Offshore Wind Power Co. has issued a second call for tenders for the delivery of 20 wind turbines with an individual capacity of at least 5MW for the Putian Pinghai Bay Phase II (Fujian Putian City Flat Bay Phase II) offshore wind project.
The scope of bidding includes 20 offshore wind turbines and the accompanying equipment, including (i.a.) towers, complete monitoring system, spare parts, and relevant technical service.
Deadline for the submission of bids is 8 March 2017.
The first tender for the delivery of 20 wind turbines was issued in December 2016 .
The second phase of Putian Pinghai Bay offshore wind farm is situated in Putian Pinghai Bay, Xiuyu District, Putian, Fujian Province. The project neighbours Daitou Peninsula on the west and Nanri Island on the north.
Once built, Putian Pinghai Bay Phase II will have up to 50 offshore wind turbines with a total capacity of around 250MW.
The first phase of the project (50MW) was connected to the grid and fully commissioned last year.
In November 2016 , the Board of Directors of the New Development Bank (NDB) approved a CNY 2 billion (EUR 273.3 million) loan for the Putian Pinghai Bay offshore wind power project.
