Scottish tidal energy developer Nova Innovation is looking to expand its team with several new job openings.
Edinburgh-based designer, builder, and operator of tidal turbines, who has last year installed and connected to the electricity grid an array of two turbines, sited at Bluemull Sound off Shetland, is recruiting for various newly opened positions within the company.
Namely, Nova Innovation is looking for Electrical Engineer, Offshore Operations Engineer, Electrical Technician, Project Manager, and Mechanical Engineer, among other openings .
Last month, Nova unveiled plans to add the third tidal turbine to the Shetland array by April 2017.
The first two turbines in the array will be removed for maintenance purposes, and returned to the site afterwards. With the third turbine in place, the first phase of the delivery of Shetland tidal array will be completed.
The turbines used are Nova Innovation’s M100 type, each with a capacity of 100kW.
