Report: OLT Offshore issues 20 LNG cargo tender

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana has reportedly issued a tender seeking 20 LNG cargoes for delivery between April and September.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana has reportedly issued a tender seeking 20 LNG cargoes for delivery between April and September.

Citing trade sources, Reuters reports that two cargoes are scheduled for delivery in September, with three cargoes to be delivered in April and June each.

The remaining portion would be delivered in May, July and August, with four cargoes to be delivered during each month.

Deadline for the submission of bids has been set to March 6. The same deadline has been set by OLT Offshore LNG Toscana for its capacity allocation tender issued on Wednesday, February 22. The company is offering up to 1.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas of regasification and storage capacity at the FSRU terminal.

The FSRU Toscana, located 22km off the Italian coast between Livorno and Pisa, has a maximum regasification capacity of 3,75 billion cubic meters a year and a gross storage capacity of 137.500 cubic meters of LNG.

Shareholders in the OLT Offshore LNG Toscana are Iren Group (49.07 percent), Uniper Global Commodities (48.24 percent) and Golar (2.69 percent).
