Adma Opco hires Al Hudairiyat jack-up rig

Abu Dhabi national oil company Adma Opco has hired the Al Hudairiyat jack-up rig from National Drilling Company (NDC).

The drilling rig was delivered by Lamprell earlier this month in the UAE.

According to VesselsValue website, the rig will stay on a contract with Adma Opco for a year and a half, until August 2018.

Al Hudairiyat is the eighth rig in a series of nine being built and delivered by Lamprell to NDC.

All nine rigs have been designed according to the Cameron LeTourneau Super 116E (Enhanced) Class design.

After the delivery of the eighth rig, Lamprell noted that the remaining, ninth rig was proceeding on schedule and would be delivered as planned in the first half of 2017.
