Seismic contractor Polarcus will be staying on the 3D marine seismic project in South America for additional month after its client exercised the option to further expand the survey area.

The company received the project award in December 2015 , and completed the first phase in August 2016.

The second phase is scheduled to start in March 2017 and will, following today’s announcement, be acquired over the period of four months, extending the regional campaign into Q3 2017.
