Tender documentation for two Yuzhny Port dredging projects was updated in e-procurement system “ProZorro”, reports Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA).
The two projects concerned are “ Reconstruction of sea approach channel and internal water approaches to deep-water quays of Yuzhny sea port ” and “ Reconstruction of water approaches, maneuvering areas and operational aquatic areas near quays in consideration of advanced cargo tonnage of sea port Yuzhny ”.
According to USPA, the working group of experts from Ukrainian Seaports Authority, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as well as the law firm Arzinger has simplified the documentation in line with best world practices.
In particular, the package of documents is now clearly defining payment terms and order, clear warranty policy, penalties, risk insurance etc.
Also, the updated version reflects conditions of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) model contract and meets the requirements of Ukrainian legislation.
The English version of the renewed tender documentation will be presented in “ ProZorro ” system in a couple of days.
