The team at Technology Associates, Inc. in New Orleans, La. is busy preparing a new survey vessel for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District.

The CATLETT will be the newest addition to Baltimore District’s fleet of working vessels.

The vessel will be used to help map the depths of channels and ensure continued safe navigation in and out of the Port of Baltimore.

Survey vessels monitor federal navigation channels to evaluate their current condition and to determine if any dredging may be required.
