WGP Group informed that the preparations for 2017 Spring North Sea projects are in full swing.

WGP’s parent company, Thalassa, said that the seismic operations are on track and anticipated to start during April.

WGP in December 2016 secured a contract from ConocoPhillips Skandinavia to acquire seismic data on the Eldfisk field in the North Sea.

The acquisition of data on Eldfisk would last approximately two months, with the start in Q2 2017.

In addition, Thalassa said it estimates WGP revenue from seismic operations will be between $15 and $16 million, up between 30% and 40% as compared to corresponding estimated revenue of $11.6 million for 2016.
