Oslo-listed vessel owner Solstad has secured a contract with the North Sea operator Repsol Sinopec Resources UK for the offshore construction vessel “Normand Jarstein”.
The vessel, know as Rem Pioneer prior to integration of Rem Offshore into Solstad, is scheduled to start its contract end-April this year.
According to Solstad, the deal covers work for a period of 90 days firm, with option for additional 60 days.
Financial details surrounding the deal have not been disclosed.
The Normand Jarstein (Rem Pioneer) was built by Kleven and delivered in 2014. The 117 meters long vessel was at that time the largest in Rem offshore fleet.
