The video shows the testing of Hann-Ocean Energy’s Drakooo wave device prototype at its facility in China.

Singapore-based Hann-Ocean Energy has been testing its 10kW module of Drakoo wave energy converter since December 2016.

The testing is being conducted at Hann-Ocean’s testing facility which is equipped with twin wave flume and located in Nantong, China.

Drakoo wave energy converter is a twin-chamber oscillating water column system transforms waves into a continuous water flow which drives a hydro turbine generator.

The device started producing electricity on December 23, 2016, with the peak power output of 3.8kW at wave height of 0.6 meters.
