Finima Innovations is looking to appoint research and development engineers to support its wave energy development activities.

The Hong Kong-based wave energy developer has opened positions both at Senior and Engineer level that would help the company with upcoming wave tank testing and sea tests in Hong Kong and overseas.

The scope of work includes contributing to the development of a feasible and robust wave energy converter, and managing the project and schedule for testing to meet critical deadlines.

Also, the successful candidates will take part in conducting wave tank tests and processing of the results, as well as in prototype design and construction activities.

The positions will be based in Hong Kong, Finima Innovations noted.

To remind, Finima Innovations was among 15 ocean energy developers selected to receive support to demonstrate their technologies at one of Europe’s leading test facilities, following the second FORESEA call.

Finima Innovations will be testing its technology at the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) in Orkney, Scotland.
