Kongsberg Maritime is bringing its new technology to Ocean Business 2017, including the Eelume underwater robot, the HiPAP 102P portable acoustic positioning system and GeoSwath compact survey vessel.

A futuristic looking vehicle with a flexible and adaptable body, Eelume is designed to live permanently underwater and carry out underwater intervention tasks that would normally require the mobilisation of expensive surface vehicles for divers or to launch and retrieve ROVs or AUVs.

HiPAP 102P for ultra-deep water operations will be shown for the first time at Ocean Business 2017. Providing full ocean depth positioning and modem capability, HiPAP 102P is designed for accurately tracking ROVs, tow fish and other subsea targets.

The first-ever KONGSBERG developed survey vessel integrates all the equipment needed to survey shallow coastal and inland waterways. It is based on a two-person catamaran equipped with the latest GeoSwath 4 shallow water multibeam system.
