The marine energy industry has a role to play in the EU electricity supply by 2050. This requires advancement in the certification and verification of technologies in order to access commercial funding.

The Marine Energy Event (MEE) 2017, organized in cooperation with the Dutch Energy from Water Association (EWA), offers delegates an insight in the latest developments in marine energy in the field of tidal and wave energy, salinity power and ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC), with a focus on bankable projects.

The event will take place on 11 October, and is organised as part of the Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference to be held on 9, 10 and 11 October 2017 at Amsterdam RAI.

Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) is one of Europe’s leading offshore energy events. It is unique in bringing together the oil & gas, offshore wind and marine energy industry. With the industry in transition, OEEC offers offshore energy professionals the ideal meeting place to network, discuss and learn about the future of energy.
