Norwegian shipowner Solstad has, on behalf of the partly owned company Normand Oceanic AS, entered into an agreement with the Mexican company Typhoon Offshore.

Typhoon Offshore, an affiliate of Grupo Salinas, will charter the CSV Normand Oceanic for a period of 3 years starting in May 2017.

The vessel will be utilized on Typhoon’s projects in Mexican Waters.

The commercial terms are confidential among the parties.

The vessel was delivered to Solstad from yard in April 2011. Normand Oceanic AS is a joint venture company owned by Solstad Offshore and Subsea 7.
