Dunkirk LNG terminal in France received its third commercial cargo from Qatar on Monday.

The cargo to France’s fourth LNG regasification terminal was delivered onboard the 210,157-cbm Q-Flex carrier Umm Al Amad, terminal operator, Dunkerque LNG said in a brief social media statement.

The cargo came only three days after the second commercial cargo was unloaded at the terminal.

The cargo has been delivered by Qatar’s RasGas under the sales and purchase agreement signed between EDF and RasGas in June 2016.

Under the terms of the SPA, RasGas will supply up to two million tons per annum of Qatari LNG into Dunkirk, complementing the existing long-term SPAs between RasGas ventures and EDF Group subsidiaries, Edison and EDF Trading.

Dunkirk LNG terminal has an annual regasification capacity of 13 billion cubic meters and is owned and operated by Dunkerque LNG, a company 65 percent owned by EDF, 25 percent by Fluxys and 10 percent by Total.
